Primary duties and responsibilities:
- Manages aircraft maintenance activities
including scheduled and unscheduled
maintenance, overhaul modifications, maintenance and repair
of aircraft structure, engines and accessories; current
aircraft status and forecast down times, determine spare
parts, materials, supplies, tooling and test equipment
requirements to conduct maintenance program.
- Trains and assists department personnel in
the procedures, methods, and practices to be followed in
each respective duty, ensuring all equipment, tools, and
facilities are in serviceable and working condition.
- Determines workforce needs based on present and
projected workloads.
- Ensures all maintenance technicians are adequately
qualified prior to assigning them to any maintenance
function.
- Makes available to all departments the necessary
overhaul manuals, service bulletins, airworthiness
directives and other required technical data.
- Ensures all necessary work records are properly executed
by the responsible mechanic.
- Other duties as assigned.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Preferred 5+ years of maintenance and
staff supervisory experience on large jet
aircraft.
- Must be a Certified A&P mechanic.
- Must have 1 or more years of experience returning
airplanes to service
- Must have 2-3 years:
- Maintaining large airplanes with 10 or more
passenger seats, or
- Repairing airplanes in a certified airframe
repair station that is rated to maintain
airplanes
in the same category and class of airplane.
Applicants with previous DOM experience
with FAA regulations, preferably FAA 121/145 or 135 will be
considered first.
Must meet FAR 119 requirements management
experience.
Proficient in Microsoft Windows/Microsoft Office
(Word/Excel/PowerPoint).

environment. Basic minimum qualifications: ATP certificate

3000 hours total flight time, min 500 hours turbojet, FAR121
experience preferred, FCC radio license, 1st Class
Medical Certificate, computer literate desired. Candidates must
